Keti Kartveli is a multidisciplinary visual artist, fashion designer and researcher of color theories, aesthetics and the psychosocial impact of art. With a background in classical music, dance and political science, her suitably diverse range of collaborators include sound and performance artists as well as computer and neuroscientists. Constantly exploring and experimenting with different techniques and mediums, her practices often merge a ‘dichotomized’ disciplines of arts, crafts and design with ethical approaches, sustainability and ecology - qualities always kept in mind. Currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, Keti was born and raised in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, a country with an ancient history and unique culture. Some of her most formative years were spent in Germany - Berlin and Munich - where she deepened her love for the Bauhaus movement and philosophy, “Art as Life.” Aside from practicing art and design in her daily life, she thinks the most important profession to practice is to be a kind, compassionate, caring Human Being towards all other living beings, to Mother Nature and our beautiful planet...
